FAQs
-
If you are asking about therapy, then you are likely finding yourself in need of relief or support. We have all been there. People often choose to get help when they are facing a life transition or they want to break unhealthy habits or address areas of mental or emotional distress such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Other times people want to pursue and explore areas of personal growth and development. If you are finding yourself here, we are ready to take the next step with you.

Therapy is a safe, judgement-free zone in which you can honestly share your life with someone who cares about you. Our therapists and coaches have no agenda for you other than helping and encouraging you with your well-being. The therapeutic relationship is unique in that the sole purpose is helping you be the best, truest version of yourself.

Yes! Research indicates that telehealth is just as effective. Many people prefer telehealth, because it reduces travel time, is convenient, and private. Some find that it is even easier to engage and go deeper, because of the safety of being in their home during sessions.

All you need is an internet connection and a phone or tablet or laptop with a camera and microphone. You will log into the portal to meet in a HIPAA-compliant “room” for your session.

Both kinds of clinicians can support you and help you get to a better place.
Licensed therapists have a Master’s Degree and are trained to diagnose and treat mental illnesses and other concerns. There are rigorous, ongoing requirements they must meet for state licensure in order to practice. Therapists focus on mental health and emotional healing.
Coaches focus more on performance and goals. Coaches have undergone specialized training that enables them to support and motivate their clients to achieve their desired goals. Coaches do not identify and treat mental health symptoms (they refer out when symptoms are present and persistent).
Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible to submit for partial reimbursement for out-of-network benefits with a licensed therapist. With coaches, insurance will not reimburse for this service and HSA and FSA benefits can not be used, but they can be used with therapists.
Both focus on self-discovery, personal development, and mental wellness.
-
We are not in-network with insurance companies for a variety of reasons. You can still use your HSA or FSA card to pay for therapy, and we can provide you with a Superbill for out-of-nework reimbursement.

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to give patients an estimate for medical services. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for how much your medical care will cost. For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
