Adam Baldridge, Therapist Intern

My goal is to provide hope and encouragement, helping those who feel lost to discover a renewed sense of purpose and direction.

I am currently a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Liberty University, where I am developing my skills and knowledge and working to become a fully licensed counselor after my internship. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a well-established method that focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. CBT helps people by breaking down complex issues into more manageable parts, allowing them to recognize and alter unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns. This can lead to significant improvements in mood and functioning, as people learn to replace these patterns with healthier, more productive ways of thinking and acting.

I am deeply passionate about helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and confusion about their life's direction. I work with clients to develop practical strategies for coping with their challenges and gaining a clearer sense of purpose. One of my greatest joys is witnessing the transformation that occurs when clients find motivation and clarity in their lives. I am committed to creating a supportive and understanding environment where people can explore their strengths and develop the tools they need to move forward.

On a personal note, I currently am living in Baltimore City where I am determined to find the best restaurant and perfect coffee shop. My wife and I enjoy traveling whenever we can, being outdoors in any way possible, and serving the community through our local church.
